THE CLAIR SENSES - PART 1

Writer's picture: SukiSuki

Everyone is psychic, it’s just that some people are more in tune with their abilities than others. Psychic abilities can be grouped into 8 categories, or “Clairs”, which is French for “clear”—so clear senses. It’s like our 5 senses on steroids! Also, it’s good to understand that your Clair senses don’t always come through loud and clear; you need to get to know them and build a relationship—just like with people and animals. Everyone will have one primary Clair sense and then the others will follow. You can actually use all 8 if you practice. I’m going to divide them into groups of 4…see which one(s) resonate with you!

CLAIRVOYANCE:

Literally translated as clear seeing (or vision), this is the most well-known Clair sense, and yet it’s actually one of the rarest. Those who are clairvoyant have the ability to see images of the past, present and future, including spirits of those who have passed or beings who have a significance in your life. This sense of “seeing” can happen while sleeping. And while awake, one may see it playing out in their mind’s eye, or in front of them—sometimes the visions seem three-dimensional. Parents and other family members will often say they see their babies or toddlers looking up and pointing at what seems to be nothing. The children are still very new to this life and have no pretense about what they’re seeing, and most of the time it’s the spirit of good ol’ Grandma Bess or Uncle Joe.

CLAIRAUDIENCE:

Translated as clear hearing, this can come through in a variety of ways. Some find they’ll hear a distinct sound, like static or ringing, when their attention needs to be drawn to something. Or if they ask a specific question, their special sound will come through as a “yes” or “no”. Others will, yes, hear voices that will say a word, sentences or entire speeches! Music has also been heard by clairaudients who will say it was the most beautiful music they’ve ever heard, almost like from another world. Many talented musicians and composers are most likely clairaudient and use their skills to share a unique soundbite from the universe—incredible!

CLAIRSENTIENCE:

Translated as clear sense (or feeling), clairsentience is often confused with clairempathy (which I will cover in Part 2). With this Clair, the person can feel physical sensations that have, are or will happen to another person or situation. For example, you may be talking with someone, and they mention they had knee surgery 2 years ago. Suddenly, you get a slight twinge in your right knee, so you ask: “Was it your right knee?” and they’ll say: “Yes!” Those who are clairsentient will also feel temperature changes around their body and mention they just got a chill. Typically, that is a sign of a spirit who is letting their presence be known.

CLAIRCOGNIZANCE:

Translated as clear knowing, people who possess this Clair just seem to know what to do and when to do it. They can’t always explain why, but they just know! It’s the ultimate gut instinct. These people also tend to be more analytical and good at solving mysteries. They may find they just know things about people that no one else would know. And they can go to bed with a question on their mind and wake up with the answer.

So, if any, or all, of these Clair senses sound like you…then congratulations, you’re psychic! If you would like to develop your Clair senses, I recommend starting with your primary (or strongest) one. Feel free to contact me for details and techniques and stay tuned for Part 2 where I talk about 4 more intriguing Clair senses. In the meantime, I would love to get your feedback, and find out what mystical, metaphysical and spiritual questions you have. Thank you for taking time to learn with me, and know wherever you are on your journey, we are all divinely united and loved. Be well!
